• 2 years of experience in warehouse maintenance or a warehouse-cleaning role.
• A minimum of a high school diploma.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training and relevant work experience may be considered.
• Clear criminal background.
• Drivers license with clean driver's abstract. (Preferred but not mandatory)
• Excellent punctuality and good attendance record.
• Good communication skills. Ability to speak, write and read English.
• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills.
• Time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and general maintenance at multiple warehouse locations.
• Handle emergency maintenance and cleanings as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform daily waste and recycling services.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles.
• Operate pressure washers, floor scrubbers and other janitorial equipment.
• Work from elevated work platform. (Safety training will be provided)
• Operate forklift for maintenance and janitorial tasks. (Safety training will be provided)
• Compliance with all company safety and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain detailed records and logs for WHIMS and HACCP compliance.
• Wear PPE as communicated and required. (PPE Provided)

Experience

• Facility maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
